Back to School

Its the start of the new year and you want to get off on the right note. What should you do to make the right impression with your teachers and strike a right balance with your CCA, friends and family?

1. Plan your time. If you have attended our camp, you would have learned essential time management skills. Strike a balance between work and play and manage a wide range of activities by learning how to prioritize. Start with a monthly then weekly and finally daily schedule.

2.Set your goals. Set short and long term goals for this year. Apply what you have learned in the workshop about goal setting. Ask yourself what grades you want this year and what you need to do to reach these goals. If you need to lose weight, plan how you are going to live a healthier lifestyle.

3. Decide what help you need. If you are weak in certain subjects get help from your teachers or your friends. Plan to spend more time revising these subjects.

4. Apply the learning skills you have learned. Brush up on your mind mapping and note taking skills. Prepare folders to file your notes for each topic so you can be ready for exams

5. Learn something new. DO something you are interested in whether it is a sport or reading a new book. Keep your mind and body active and have fun!
